Huntington University Doctoral Program in Occupational Therapy (OTD)

Cause 4 Life and Huntington University Doctoral Program In Occupational Therapy

First year Occupational Therapy Doctoral students receive biblical education on a theology of suffering, using Beyond Suffering as a core text, during their coursework at Huntington University. As a capstone to the internship, students serve people affected by disability through Cause 4 Life wheelchair distributions in Guatemala (January 4-12, 2020) in several villages, including an orphanage.  Home visits will allow students to see what life is like as a family affected by disability in Guatemala.

As both a Huntington OTD student and a Cause 4 Life intern, students have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus — meeting real needs through therapeutic intervention and education, while ministering to the hope found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
